As you all know, the School of Computing and Information Sciences
systematically evaluates its BS in CS program on an annual basis. This
annual program assessment is to identify ways to improve the quality of
the program and implement appropriate changes to the program. The past

The SCS 2006-2007 assessment schedule will be as follows:


       Jan 26        Area Coordinator reports are submitted to the
                     Assessment Coordinator

       Feb/16        Assessment Director's report is submitted to SCIS
                     Undergraduate Committee

       March/16      SCIS Undergraduate Committee Submits CS program Changes (if any)
                     to the faculty

       March/30      Faculty Meeting to discuss the proposed curriculum
                     changes

       April/13      Approved curriculum changes are submitted to college
                     Curriculum committee

This year Professor Pestaina will be the SCIS Assessment Director.
